Job Description
Join Scarlet Security and Risk Group as a Wildfire Security and Access Control Officer in remote regions of BC, Alberta, Yukon, and NWT. Provide essential safety services during wildfire emergencies on a casual basis.
As a Wildfire Security Officer, you will play a key role in assisting local authorities with safety and emergency response efforts. This position, ideal for candidates with strong security backgrounds, requires minimum guidance while working diligently at checkpoints or camps. You will ensure controlled access to wildfire-affected areas and assist law enforcement and first responders during incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage access control at wildfire perimeters
• Record visitor entries and exits at checkpoints
• Check vehicles entering restricted areas
• Collaborate with law enforcement at incident scenes
• Facilitate evacuations for people and livestock
