About the role

:
  • Supporting young people with conditions like Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, speech/language needs, or social-emotional difficulties in a community centre environment
  • Build trust with young people who struggle to attend school
  • Provide 1:1 support tailored to their needs
  • Help develop social skills
  • Emotional regulation
  • Independence and life skills
  • Support access to education, training, or activities
  • Work closely with families, carers, and schools
  • Manage challenging behaviour using positive strategies
  • Safeguard vulnerable young people
