Second Officer DPO

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a Second Officer DPO. Applicants must hold a UK passport or UK work permit.

Role Overview:

The 2nd Officer / DPO is responsible for maintaining safe navigation, supporting Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations, and assisting in offshore wind farm maintenance activities. The role ensures compliance with maritime regulations, safe vessel operations, and efficient execution of maintenance campaigns on offshore wind installations.

Key Responsibilities

Navigation & Watchkeeping:

• Maintain a safe navigational watch in accordance with COLREGs and company procedures
• Plan and monitor voyages, including passage planning for UK offshore operations
• Ensure all navigational charts and publications are corrected and up to date (ECDIS & paper where required)
• Monitor weather, tides, and sea conditions, particularly for jack‑up and maintenance operations
