Security Engineer
I am currently recruiting for an Information Security Engineer on behalf of a global organisation based in Dublin. This position sits within the Data Protection team, focusing on Shadow IT risk management, governance, and enforcement.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain a Shadow IT blocking strategy framework for unapproved applications
Define risk-based blocking criteria, scoring models, and decision thresholds
Own enforcement, governance, and escalation processes across Shadow IT activity
Ensure all decisions are clearly documented, including business justification and technical impact
Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage risk, exceptions, and escalations
