SEMH Learning SUpport Assistant

SEN Learning Support Assistant — SEMH Focus | North London £107–£115 per day | Day-to-day, long-term and temp-to-perm | Immediate and September starts


If you’ve worked with young people who’ve been let down by mainstream education, you already know how much the right adult in the room matters.


We’re placing SEN Learning Support Assistants across North London schools and alternative provisions — and right now demand is outpacing supply, particularly for candidates with SEMH experience.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who have social, emotional and mental health needs

  • Supporting in-class learning, de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies

  • Building consistent, trusting relationships with young people who find school hard
