About the Role
We’re seeking an SEMH Support Worker to join a nurturing alternative provision in Sunderland. You’ll be supporting pupils who benefit from structure, patience, and trusted adults who stay calm under pressure.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils with SEMH needs through structured routines
Using positive relationships to build engagement and resilience
Assisting with vocational sessions, classroom tasks, and outdoor learning
Tracking progress and sharing updates with staff

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with young people facing SEMH barriers
An empathetic approach with strong listening skills
