SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible
This is a rewarding opportunity for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils in an Alternative Provision setting, both on-site and through outreach. Staff work collaboratively to ensure high standards of teaching and pastoral care, with a strong focus on individual progress and emotional well-being.
Duties as SEMH Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions
- Support pupils in managing behaviour and developing coping strategies
