SEMH Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our specialist primary SEMH school in L13.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with pupils who have SEMH needs, providing tailored interventions and support.
  • Assist in implementing behaviour strategies to promote positive outcomes.
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them thrive academically and emotionally.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with SEMH pupils in a school or similar setting.
  • Skilled in behaviour management and intervention strategies.
  • Team Teach training is highly desirable.
  • Resilient, patient, and committed to making a difference.
