Job Description

We are supporting a well-established accountancy practice in Stoke-on-Trent that is looking to appoint a Semi-Senior Accountant on a fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practice experience to take on a varied role, supporting a portfolio of clients across accounts preparation, tax, and day-to-day advisory.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients including SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships
Assist with the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
Support the completion of VAT returns and corporation tax computations
Liaise directly with clients to request information and resolve queries
Assist senior members of the team with more complex accounting assignments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with compliance requirements
Support junior staff where required and contribute to team workflow
