Senior Accountant

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial and management reporting in a project-based environment. This position will have an in depth understanding of the ERP system and its interdependencies between modules. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, analyzing project results, preparing reconciliations and financial reports, completing month end close processes and ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, tax regulations and accounting standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, and validate financial and operational data from the ERP systems and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Oracle accounting modules.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations and support month-end/ year-end closing processes.
