The Veterinary Medicine and Surgery department exists to serve UT MD Anderson research programs. Our primary aim is to provide the best possible veterinary care, facilities and services in support of the institutional animal care and use program, in keeping with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) accreditation standards.
Senior Animal Resources Technologist provides the highest quality of technical skills necessary for animal health care and provides support for the overall operations of the animal programs.
The ideal Senior Animal Resources Technologist will have an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology (Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science or Animal Science preferred), along with strong clinical or surgical animal care experience, and preferred licensure such as LVT, RVT, or CVT.
