Job Overview

Senior Aseptic Assistant – Aseptic Services at the Royal Marsden Sutton site.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Technician and Deputy Chief Technician with the day-to-day running of the Technical Services aseptic suite, delivering a GMP compliant service.
• Supply aseptically prepared medicines, including clinical trial products, to all service users in a timely manner.
• Set up product trays and carry out compounding of aseptic products, such as gene therapy.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors to order, process, and distribute purchased pre‑ordered IV products.
• Achieve full training and accreditation for all Band 3 processes, including assembly, first‑dispense check, and compounding.

Training and Accreditation

Full training will be provided in all aspects of the role and the employee will become fully accredited in all relevant processes.
