Senior associate - tdc (tax engine implementation)

Summary:
The Senior Associate – Tax Engine Implementation will play a key role in supporting the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of indirect tax automation solutions (e.g., Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara) integrated with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday. The role requires a strong blend of tax domain knowledge, system understanding, and analytical skills to ensure accurate and compliant tax determination across global business processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with tax and finance teams to understand indirect tax (VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, etc.) requirements
Assist in documenting business processes, transaction flows, and tax determination rules
Perform gap analysis between business needs and system capabilities
Support preparation of functional specifications for integration with ERP systems
Support configuration of tax rules, jurisdictions, rates, and product mappings within the Tax Engine
