The Role
As SAP, you will be the primary on-site authority for all HV, MV and LV electrical systems. You will own the Electrical Safe Systems of Work, manage the full permit system, lead energisation and commissioning activities, and set the standard for electrical safety across the project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary on-site authority for all live and potentially live electrical systems, assuming full responsibility for their safe control at all times.
- Establish, manage, audit and enforce the Electrical Safe Systems of Work (ESSOW), including Permit to Work systems, access control, and lockout/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
- Approve, issue, manage and close Electrical Safety Permits for all energised work activities in line with project and jurisdictional requirements.
