Role: Senior BIG Data Engineer
Location: Ontario, Canada.
Description :
-5 + years of experience in SCALA, Java, Hive, Biga Data, SPAK, HDFS, Unix shell scripting, SQL, snowflake implementation
- Write SQL queries to extract data from the data warehouse - hands on experience
- Create data definitions for new database files or alterations made to the already existing ones for analysis purposes
- Apply statistical analysis methods for compliance data, research and analysis purposes
- Keep track of the trends and correlational patterns among complex data sets
- Must have good communication and Analytics skills, understanding of technical architectures
-Experience in AML/Fraud business area will be advantage
