Senior Buyer

The Sr. Planner/Buyer will direct and coordinate activities of raw material buying, planning and inventory control. This position ensures suppliers meet quality, delivery and cost targets to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods to our customers. This materials-focused role will use (CMS) methods to drive for consistent materials and production execution. Additional responsibilities will also include daily contact with suppliers to support these vital goals in the company.

Essential Functions

• Blanket purchase order maintenance, placing PO releases for materials, and delivery confirmation with suppliers.
• Execute MRP order action/reschedule for assigned area (Make/Buy).
• Execute Inventory Optimization, using Inventory Optimizer for assigned areas.
• Manage capacity constraints for assigned areas.
