Reporting to – UK Metrology Manager – Calibration. As Senior Calibration Technician, you will conduct a wide range of instrument calibrations (mainly electrical) to ensure the validity and traceability of measurements in compliance with ISO 17025:2017 requirements. The role involves following procedures and ensuring compliance with client contractual and KPI obligations. External training and support is provided.
Responsibilities
- Calibration of a wide range of measurement instruments (mainly electrical) in line with ISO 17025:2017 standard and customer requirements
- Achievement of agreed training objectives
- Assist your line manager to determine whether calibration capability is compatible with customer requirements
- Sign‑off internal and external audit findings
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Develop new calibration methods in accordance with customer requirements
