Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth ceramics tutoring and guidance for all ceramics classes, inclusive of special technique classes;
- Ability to design lesson outlines for ceramic classes;
- Ability to set up, clean, and demonstrate the use of pottery equipment and instruments safely and effectively, inclusive of kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces;
- Design and produce AIA ceramic products for retail and commercial purposes
- Plan exhibitions and events which includes artist workshops;
- Oversee and manage studio inventory, approving or facilitating purchases as needed;
- Monitor and ensure a clean and safe working environment, with regular upkeep of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials;
- Any other assigned ad‑hoc duties.
