Cloud – Senior Consultant/Principal (DevOps)
What You’ll Do- Conduct comprehensive infrastructure survey documenting servers, hosting, networking, and environment topology.
- Assess the source control system including tooling, repository structure, branching strategy, code review practices, repository ownership, and build reproducibility.
- Map the current end-to-end SDLC process, evaluate maturity against industry benchmarks (e.g., DORA metrics), identify gaps in automation, quality gates, environments, and governance, and design a phased SDLC improvement roadmap.
- Evaluate the current SDLC tooling landscape and recommend improvements: including AI-augmented options.
- Document the current infrastructure architecture including hosting, server topology, load balancing, caching, monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery, and assess current deployment processes for maturity and environment parity.
