About Oze
Oze is closing the small business credit gap across Africa. Since 2018, we’ve built tools that help millions of small businesses run smarter — digital bookkeeping, invoicing, and AI coaching — and we’ve turned the data those businesses generate into a lending engine that banks and microfinance institutions can actually trust. Through Oze Originate and Oze Embed, our AI credit scoring (91% AUC) and lending infrastructure power partners like Ecobank, FirstBank, and Bank of Africa, cutting non‑performing loans by up to 85% and putting capital in the hands of entrepreneurs traditional models would have rejected. We operate across 13 African countries — markets where credit bureaus are patchy or absent and where smart, fair, explainable lending genuinely changes lives. We’re a fast‑moving, cross‑cultural team solving one of the hardest and most consequential problems in fintech: how do you lend confidently to people the system has never seen?
