This role provides administrative support to the National Group Disability organization and works closely with both our internal and external customers, including Case Managers, Associate Managers, DA and SDA colleagues, Specialists, Medical Consultants, Lawyers, Plan Sponsors, and Plan Members.

Key Accountabilities & Job Duties:

  • Processing Access Requests (file copy requests) by reviewing the request and the consent toidentifycorrect information to send and authority to do so

  • Reviewing access requests meticulously and redacting third party information to avoid privacy breach – each document is reviewed to ensure it matches the request and authority above

  • Privacy Breach incidents are referred to the employee’s leader who handles the resolution and reporting requirements

  • Handling emails in several group email inboxes

  • Setting up disability claims and/or handling follow-ups ...
