Senior EC&I Engineer

Overview

Senior EC&I Engineer role is based in Bolton, offering a salary of £45,000–£59,000 and a structured working pattern of office-based Monday to Thursday with home working on Friday mornings.

You’ll be joining a well-established UK engineering manufacturer specialising in the design and delivery of safety-critical access and door systems for nuclear, defence, transport and other high-hazard environments. The business has a long track record of delivering bespoke, compliant solutions where failure is not an option — and engineering rigour genuinely matters.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading EC&I design activities from concept through to installation and commissioning support


• Producing detailed control system designs including wiring schematics, panel layouts and cable schedules
