Senior Project Engineer Capital Projects (CAPEX)
Function: Capital Projects & Engineering
Job Purpose
Lead and support the successful execution of CAPEX projects ensuring delivery in line with approved KPIs, schedules, budgets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and budgets.
- Identify and elevate risks or deviations; support corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Operations to develop and evaluate technical and operational solutions.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects from initiation to handover.
- Review fabrication/shop drawings and material submittals from contractors.
- Participate in design review meetings with EPC/EPCM contractors and consultants contributing to design optimization and value engineering.
- Ensure readiness of project documentation (drawings O&M manuals) prior to completion and handover.
