Senior Estimator - Building

We're looking to add a Senior Estimator to our Mississauga office to contribute to the growth of our Building operations.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site position in our Mississauga, Ontario office;

Responsible for preparing Estimates for Design-Build and for CM projects. This will include all ‘soft’ budget elements including commentary, assumptions lists, presentation materials etc., as required;

Lead on hard bid pursuits;

Study plans and specifications;

Interpret the technical specifications of the tender documents;

Analyze and prepare tender documents;

Discuss the working methods to be applied, parts of the work to be subcontracted, risks and constraints of the call for tenders;

Perform quantity calculations;

Evaluate the costs of materials, labor, and necessary equipment;

Find prices from subcontractors and suppliers;
