Senior Estimator Aplin has partnered with a reputable construction company to recruit a SENIOR ESTIMATOR for their growing operations in Edmonton.
Responsibilities Estimating and Bid Preparation
Review contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and tender forms.
Develop detailed quantity takeoffs using industry-standard software.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work.
Develop preliminary construction schedules and project logistics planning.
Assist in identifying and addressing ambiguities or unique technical requirements in bid documents.
Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
Contribute to the development of bid preparation schedules and ensure deadlines are met.

Conduct risk and opportunity analysis on projects outlining mitigation strategies.
