Senior Estimator
This position reports to the Estimating Manager and involves preparing detailed cost estimates for full project scope using estimating software, including labor, equipment, raw materials, purchased equipment, and subcontractors. Tender closings must meet all submission deadlines. Primary Scope of Role
Tender Preparation
Interpret and comprehend tender drawings and specifications for projects up to $1 Billion. Perform or direct quantity take-offs from tender drawings. Formulate all tender costs (labour, material, equipment, subcontractors). Cost out potential scope changes/additional costs/claims. Prepare initial tender schedule for handoff to field staff. Prepare bid bond and insurance request forms.
Tender Management
Lead Design‑Build projects through the tender stage. Chair meetings and set project goals. Present project scope, staging, timing, risks, constraints, and cost‑saving opportunities. Close tenders (reviews, sub‑...
