Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to support a high-volume, fast-paced environment on a 3-month contract. This role will focus on IFRS financial reporting, operational accounting oversight, and reviewing the work of junior team members. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee full-cycle accounting and ensure accuracy of financial records in a high-volume transactional environment
Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures
Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Review and approve work completed by junior accountants, providing guidance and mentorship
Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Ensure proper accounting treatment for complex transactions in accordance with IFRS
