Our client in Cabo Delgado is looking for a Senior Geologist to join their team within the Mining Sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable to ensure that personal and Team HSE KPIs are set and achieved by all team members. Ensuring behavior and work practices of team members are consistent with HSE and Quality Standards and procedures including correct use of PPE, incident reporting and housekeeping. Ensuring safe and serviceable condition of tools and equipment utilized in area of responsibility. Providing leadership and coaching of team members to reinforce safe work practices and eliminate unsafe work practices or conditions.Supervise and ensure safe execution of exploration activities (geological mapping, sampling, drilling, XRF analysis).Perform geological logging, sampling, and photography of drilled boreholes.Maintain hard copies of logging sheets and digital...
