Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and supervision of road/highways in accordance with local and international standards using C3D design software.
- Geometric layout: determine road geometry, including horizontal/vertical alignments, lane widths, and sight distances to ensure vehicle stability and safety, using DPWH local standards for local projects and AASHTO for foreign projects.
- Field works: data gathering and site verification of actual site conditions.
- Highway design reports: preparation of highway design and inspection reports.
- Meetings: attend client meetings if requested.
Qualifications
- Preferably at least 8 years of experience as a highway designer.
- License as a Civil Engineer.
Skills & Knowledge
- Proficient in road/highway design using C3D and AutoCAD software.
- Knowledgeable with local DPWH and AASHTO international standards...
