Senior Housing Options Officer

Providing a specialist housing support and homeless prevention caseworker service across the Social Inclusion and Homelessness and Advice teams within the Housing Service Main responsibilities

1. Undertaking detailed housing options and support needs assessments

2. Identifying measures and taking actions to prevent homelessness

3. Determining and mapping out person-centred housing and support pathways

4. Reaching and notifying statutory homeless determinations under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 (and associated legislative provisions)

Key tasks

1. Offer advice and guidance and advocacy on all aspects of customers housing, advice and support options through personal interviews, telephone calls and correspondence
