Job Description

Senior HR Advisor – Permanent, Intermediate Level, HR Department, 800 Kipling Avenue, Toronto, ON. Reports to Director, Compensation & HR Programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with assigned client groups as a strategic partner to provide advice, guidance and interpretation of HR policy, guidelines, procedures, processes and data.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for client groups:
    1. Identify current and prospective staff requirements.
    2. Prepare and post job vacancies.
    3. Screen applications and conduct interviews.
    4. Issue offer letters and conduct reference checks.
  • Guide managers in collective agreement interpretation and administration, including coaching on all aspects of union/management relations.
  • Deliver HR solutions to meet business requirements, serving as a single point of contact for client groups while leveraging internal and external HR expertise.
