Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Executes maintenance and repair work requiring a high level of skill, technical expertise, proper training, and experience in accordance with current industry standards.
  • Operates hand and power tools and utilizes diagnostic instruments in a manner that ensures worker safety and protects the tools and equipment.
  • Performs various skilled tasks to support the Facilities help request system. Responds to customer requests in a timely manner reporting job status to the Facilities Administrator.
  • Responds to emergency calls, including those that occur after hours. Assesses the situation, makes independent decisions on corrective actions and performs work or obtains additional help as needed to correct the problem.
  • Creates and maintains adequate maintenance records of all assigned equipment and building systems using hardcopy logs, spreadsheets, and CMMS programs. Enters data, stores both hardcopy and electronic copies...
