Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This position is responsible to transition designs to manufacturable solutions as well as provide continuous engineering support to the production team. The expectation is also to provide mentorship and instruction to junior engineers as well as work closely with program management, quality, and other internal teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Provide engineering and prototyping support with a focus on manufacturability and assembly throughout the design, transition, and sustain portions of the product development process.
+ Generate complete engineering packages (including bill of materials, fully dimensioned piece part drawings, top level assemblies, process documents, etc.) required to produce products at high volume.
+ Conduct prototype builds in conjunction with operations team. Document and implement changes to reduce build time and decrease cost of the system.
