Senior Marine Underwriter

About The Role

Our Team is looking for a Senior Underwriter with recognised experience and a successful track record in underwriting Large and Medium Sized Corporates.

As a Senior Marine Underwriter, you will play an instrumental role shaping our Marine & Energy underwriting portfolio and will be a key contributor in driving our strategy. Experience with underwriting Composite placements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analysing and assessing submissions in respect of exposures and coverages as well as identifying and negotiating the best position for Swiss Re
• Underwrite treaty reinsurance business for the various Marine classes including Cargo, Hull, Liability, Energy and PVT, including preparing quotations, offering proposals, wordings and clauses.
• Developing strategies to expand our position on current accounts and to cross‑sell other lines of business.
