Job Description
Lead large-scale estimating efforts as a Senior Mechanical Estimator specializing in ICI and high-rise projects. This role demands expertise in plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal systems for effective pricing.
We are looking for a driven and experienced estimator to manage high-value projects ranging from $5M to $35M. Your role will include preparing comprehensive cost estimates, analyzing blueprints, and assessing rooftop equipment. Independent analysis and a strong technical background in mechanical systems are key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare precise estimates for mechanical systems
- Analyze project drawings and specifications
- Conduct detailed take-offs for residential/commercial projects
- Manage pricing for rooftop units daily
- Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Take ownership of estimating functions and contribute to securing contracts in this vital role
