Job Description
We are helping our client in Markham with a Sr Payroll Manager search, this is a full-time permanent role with bonus, benefits, RRSP matching, and a hybrid work model (3 days in office).
The ideal candidate would have experience processing high volume payroll (2000+ employees) in house. Must have Union and Multi-Province experience, and most importantly experience processing payroll in house!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the payroll team, overseeing daily operations, workforce planning, hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of high-volume, complex multi-provincial payrolls (weekly and bi-weekly) for unionized and non-unionized employees, including incentives, benefits, garnishments, and tax deductions.
