Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manual calculation and payment of benefits
  • Production of reports
  • Efficient handling of correspondence, e‑mail and telephone enquiries from scheme members and third‑party institutions
  • Assisting with scheme renewal queries and issuing benefit statements as required
  • Performing calculations and communication of pension increases
  • Undertaking general checking and peer review responsibilities for less experienced team members

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge of DB pension arrangements
  • Awareness of service standards and statutory disclosure requirements
  • Experience using the Profund oPen administration platform
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • At least 2 years recent experience in occupational pension schemes, preferably from a consulting/TPA background
  • DPC/QPA/RPC qualification preferable but not essential
