Senior Piping Stress Engineer | Edmonton, AB Capital Engineering is seeking a highly experienced
Senior Piping Stress Engineer
with strong expertise in ASME B31.1 (Power Piping), ASME B31.3 (Process Piping) and CSA Z662 (Oil & Gas Pipelines) to join the Edmonton team. This role requires a well‑rounded engineer who can not only perform advanced piping flexibility and stress analysis but also provide technical support for piping/mechanical design.
The ideal candidate is adaptable and comfortable working across disciplines, including stress analysis, material requisitions, datasheets, and general mechanical/piping engineering tasks.
What You’ll Do Piping Stress & Analysis
Perform piping stress and flexibility analysis using CAESAR II
Ensure compliance with ASME B31.1 and B31.3 and CSA Z662
Analyze load cases including sustained, thermal, occasional, and dynamic loads
Evaluate nozzle loads and interface forces on equip...
