Senior Platform Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Enterprise Platform Engineering team for a leading Vancouver-based retailer. This role is a hands-on technical leadership position focused on designing, operating, and evolving GitLab SaaS, Terraform Cloud, and CI/CD automation at enterprise scale. You will collaborate with platform, security, and product teams to deliver scalable, resilient DevOps solutions, while driving the adoption of AI-assisted workflows across the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include: Own and manage GitLab SaaS and Terraform Cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with security and SSDLC standards

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, runners, templates, and shared components

Develop and promote Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), including reusable modules, guardrails, and policy-as-code
