Context:

The Japanese power system is undergoing rapid transformation driven by renewable energy integration, grid congestion, and curtailment challenges. Developers and investors require better understanding of grid constraints and connection feasibility to support their projects.

AFRY is developing its advisory services in Japan to support these needs, combining international expertise with local market understanding.

This role is key to establishing AFRY’s presence in Japan. It combines:

  • power system engineering expertise,
  • pragmatic analytical capability, and
  • active engagement with local stakeholders.

    • The successful candidate will act as a technical interface between Japanese clients and AFRY’s global teams, while contributing to business development through technical credibility.


    Regular working days: Mon-Fri., 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
