Job Description
We are looking for a Structures Project Engineer interested in heavy civil experience with 2 years’ experience to join our team on our Ferguson Project located in El Portal near Yosemite National Park.
Myers and Sons Construction has a contract to restore full highway access to State Route 140 on the existing alignment that has been blocked by a rockslide that occurred in 2006. The project will consist of building the Rockshed structure, which will be a reinforced concrete box structure supported on concrete piles and anchored to tie backs into the canyon wall.
We are looking for a person that can develop a deep understanding of the project documents, including the contract with the owner, subcontracts, cost reports, CPM schedules, specifications, project deliverable documents, correspondence, billings, and related project controls items.
