Job Role: Senior Python GenAI Technology Lead
Location: Ottawa, Canada
Contract: Long Term Contract • 7+ years of strong hands-on talent with knowledge in GenAI and Python
Responsibilities
- Lead technology initiatives and deliver scalable, high-performance backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to design and implement production-ready solutions.
- Apply best practices in modern Python development and GenAI technologies.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python and GenAI technologies.
- Typed Python (Python 3.12+)
- Asynchronous Python Programming • asyncio - Asynchronous I/O
- Aiohttp, Postgres, aiopg
- Nice to have: Python projects that use UV and FastAPI
- Kubernetes experience
- Google Cloud Platform experience
- Experience with SCRUM or similar agile development methodology
