Job Description
Senior Test Automation Engineer
You will be a hands‑on, independent contributor focused on 90% automation and 10% exploratory/manual testing. Your work will involve expanding test coverage, improving flaky tests, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and extending our internal automation framework for commerce e2e tests.
Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and maintain automated E2E test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript, focusing on stability and eliminating flakiness.
- Perform manual exploratory testing on new features to uncover edge cases, logic gaps, and usability issues that automated checks might miss.
- Monitor and troubleshoot test execution in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI), analyze failure logs, and ensure rapid feedback for nightly smoke/regression tests and builds.
