Move fast and break nothing. The Engineering team’s mission is bold and clear: To build a technology ecosystem that serves as a poster-child for how enterprise businesses leverage the Shopify ecosystem to achieve exceptional results with agility, speed, and efficiency. This means deploying code multiple times a day. To do this safely, we need a robust, automated safety net. As our QA Automation Engineer, you will build the automated frameworks that enable this.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for Web (Shopify/Liquid) and Mobile (iOS).
- Automate critical happy paths (Sign-up, Checkout, Add to Cart) and complex edge cases involving our Membership tiers and contextual pricing.
- Develop automated tests for our API layer and middleware. Verify that data payloads sent from Shopify are correctly processed by our iPaaS and received by our ERP.
