Job Description
As a Lead Developer, you will provide hands‑on technical leadership across one or a small number of related product engineering teams, setting direction, improving delivery quality and shaping cloud‑based services that support critical public‑facing platforms.
- Lead the design and development of cloud‑based services, with particular emphasis on serverless architecture and Node.js.
- Set technical direction for the team, including architecture decisions, engineering standards and appropriate technology choices.
- Guide team ways of working to improve pace, quality, resilience and maintainability.
- Coach and mentor developers, promoting strong engineering practice, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the wider developer community and help raise technical capability across teams.
