Job Description
**What you’ll do:**
The Aerospace Software Architect will lead the design and governance of software architectures for Eaton’s aerospace product lines, including electrical power management systems, actuation systems, and avionics platforms. This role ensures that Eaton’s solutions for power distribution, flight control, and hydraulic/electromechanical actuation meet stringent safety, reliability, and certification requirements under standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754A, and ARINC 653.
The architect will define modular, partitioned architectures that support mixed-criticality applications within Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) environments. Responsibilities include creating architecture guidelines, interface specifications, and reusable design patterns that enable scalability, maintainability, and compliance for Eaton’s aerospace systems.
