Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

Senior Structural Engineers required on a contract basis in Warrington.

Role Purpose:

• Undertake structural design for LSS1 as directed by the Lead Structural Engineer. This includes design of the portal frame, crane support steelwork, secondary steelwork, reinforced concrete raft, walls and slabs.
• Collaborate with structural designers to translate the design into a 3D model and produce 2D AutoCAD GA and detail drawings from the model as the design progresses through Preliminary and Detailed Design.
• Develop material and workmanship specifications for the structural elements as the design progresses into Detailed Design.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and the Construction team to ensure the overall Plant design is coordinated, meets functional requirements, and can be constructed safely and efficiently.
• Fulfil the Designer role under the CDM Regulations.
