Senior Structural Engineer (Vancouver)

Sedgman Canada Ltd is currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, B.C.

We are a consulting engineering company in the mining space, rapidly expanding our North American offices. This role is business critical within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development of structural and concrete designs ensuring compliance with relevant codes and industry standards.
• Lead concept studies, including estimating quantities and preliminary designs.
• Perform detailed concrete and steel design, collaborating with drafters to produce models and documentation in line with QA compliance.
• Assist with construction enquiries, including safe lifting and erection.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines (electrical, process, mechanical) to deliver integrated solutions.
