Job Description

Senior Technical Officer/ Technical Officer in Electron Microscope Unit (Biological Electron Microscopy) (Ref.: 534288) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in life sciences, biological science or equivalent, and excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese; strong interpersonal skills for user-facing support.

Essential qualifications and experience:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in research and biological electron microscopy are required;

Hands-on expertise with TEM and SEM;

Proven proficiency in ultramicrotomy and biological sample preparation for EM;
