Senior Upholsterer – Furniture & Interior Projects

Job Responsibilities

• Upholster sofas, chairs, headboards, banquettes, wall panels, cushions, and bespoke furniture pieces.
• Prepare furniture frames using webbing, springs, foam, and padding.
• Cut, sew, fit, and finish fabrics, leather, velvet, and other upholstery materials.
• Operate industrial sewing machines for stitching, piping, welting, and detailed seam work.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production briefs.
• Perform furniture restoration, repairs, and re-upholstery projects.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet ALMA standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of upholstery experience in furniture manufacturing, hospitality, commercial, or residential projects.
